Am I eligible for the IIM CDPO exam?
IIM states you need to meet just one of three routes: two years of experience in data protection, compliance, or information security; completion of IIM-accredited DPO training; or a relevant professional certification IIM recognises.
Is CDPO training mandatory if I qualify through experience?
IIM's certification-process page lists recognised training as an important step even though eligibility can be met through experience or an existing certification. If you're relying on one of those routes, confirm the current training requirement directly with IIM.
